This new version fixes some bugs related with the WordPress Plugin:

  1. All the variables and functions have the et_ prefix instead of ed_ avoiding to have the same names of WP native Quicktags functions.
  2. The etiquetags.js file has new values for the etForm var: this avoids the malfunction of other plugins and the Quick edit functions in WordPress admin pages.
    New value is etForm=document.getElementById('post') but the demo version maintains the same value: etForm = document.forms[0]

The images window has a frequent classes menu as CSS button does.

Both, images and objects, have a default directory path where you maybe have stored your items. You can change this path in the first part of the etiquetags.js file (or quicktags.js if you’re working with WordPress). You also can change the default width and height of the objects.

  1. Open the etiquetags.js file with your favorite editor.
  2. Go to line 66 and look for the text:
    //************** CLASSES(CSS) ********//
    //******Create your own frequent classes**********//
  3. The classes are defined below this text.
  4. Change the classes already defined or create new ones easily copying and pasting the code of one of them.
  5. The first parameter, name, is the class name in your CSS Style sheet
  6. The second parameter, title, is the name of the class in the frequent classes menu.
  7. Save your changes and refresh the etiquetags page. Check that your changes appear in your frequent classes menu.

etiquetags has a special button to make easier these tasks: the div-span button that allows to insert <div> and <span> tags with id and class attributes and a “frequent classes menu”.

Obviously, the ids and classes you use should be previously defined in your style sheet.
